For many people the sight and feel of the sun cheers them up no end. For other people it just reminds them how little like their old sunny selves they feel.
Our mood can be affected by many factors. Yes, some people are more likely to ‘look on the bright side’ than others, but this is not set in stone. Our mood and our approaches to our lives are not fixed. Sometimes things happen along the way in our lives that interfere with the normal flow of things and we can get a bit stuck.
There can be unresolved issues from the past, for example:
• Loss of a family member, loved one or close friend (and even losing a number of people very close together)
• A painful break-up of a relationship, whether romantic or otherwise
• A life adjustment – having a baby, losing a job, retirement, children leaving home
and it is not the things themselves that made us feel that way, it is the way in which we deal with things that makes the difference. We may feel that we just cannot cope.
This can lead to:
• Stress
• Anxiety
• Insomnia
• Irritability
• Anger
• Depression
Happier, Simpler and Less Complicated
Most of us have memories from our past of a time when things were much simpler, much less complicated, and much happier, and when we think to those times we might notice that we may have dealt with things differently had they happened at this easier time. But where we are now, we don’t quite know what to do differently to create a different result.
I help people when they are feeling:
• I just don’t know what to do
• I can’t cope
• I can’t see a way out
• I am stuck
Help with Hypnotherapy and NLP
I do this using Hypnotherapy and NLP (even combined with herbal medicines if appropriate). Hypnotherapy and NLP respect you and your body and mind, and work with you to enable you to achieve the changes you want. Hypnosis is not about sitting in the chair and being told what you should be doing instead. I work in a way that gives each person the tools they need to understand what it is that they need in order to feel happier, more content and more positive about the future.
If you have any questions at all, please contact me and I will be happy to speak to you.
